🌟 What’s the difference between featured and non-featured candidates?
- Featured candidates are handpicked and vetted by the Hey Foster team. These profiles are showcased at the top of the board and handled directly by our hiring specialists.
- Non-featured candidates can purchase a listing to appear in our open directory. These listings are not vetted by Hey Foster but are still publicly visible to employers browsing the board.
🔍 How do I become a featured candidate?
To be featured, you must:
- Apply through Hey Foster
- Pass our vetting process, including reference checks
- Be selected based on role demand and experience fit
Once featured, we’ll create a personalized profile that gets seen by U.S. employers looking to hire quickly.
đź‘€ Can I list myself without going through the vetting process?
Yes. You can choose to buy a non-featured listing, which allows you to post your profile on the board without going through our manual screening. Employers will be able to reach out to you directly from your listing.
đź’¬ How do employers contact me?
- Featured candidates: Employers contact the Hey Foster team, and we manage the interview and hiring process on your behalf.
- Non-featured candidates: Employers can reach out to you directly through your listing.
🧾 What happens after I get hired?
- If you’re a featured candidate, we’ll remove your listing once you’ve accepted a role.
- If you’re a non-featured candidate, you can choose to remove your listing at any time once you’re hired or no longer available.

You’ll be paid directly by your employer. Common payment platforms include:
- Wise (formerly TransferWise)
- PayPal
- Payoneer
- Bank transfer
We recommend agreeing on payment terms before starting any work.
